A modern ASC entitled Diia Center was opened in Zavodske hromada in Ternopil region on November 9, 2022. 259 services will be available to visitors. The center will serve about 7,000 residents from the hromada's five settlements. The services include birth registration, IDP documents, subsidy registration, etc. The Center's premises are adapted for people with disabilities and visitors with children; there is a self-service stand and a business consultation desk.
Liudmyla Pavlinska, head of Zavodske hromada, states, “I am grateful to all of our partners – the regional administration, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development for supporting, understanding, and helping at every stage. I also thank the PROSTO project, which revealed a new way for us: creating, working, and providing high-quality services. And, of course, I extend great thanks to our local self-government team and center staff. Their diligent work is highly appreciated in hard times.”
There are six work desks for administrators in the Center. The ASC was opened with the financial aid of the Government of Ukraine, subvention for the development of the ASC network from the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and systemic support from the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine. International partners – the Swedish-Ukrainian Project PROSTO "Support to Services Accessibility in Ukraine" – provided institutional and methodological support in establishing the ASC in the hromada.
All ASC employees have completed an advanced training program developed by PROSTO experts. Local self-government officials keep cooperating with the Project on the issues of awareness-raising and engaging the citizen’s in decision-making in the hromada.
The ASC opening ceremony was visited by representatives of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the heads of Ternopil Regional State Administration, and the representatives from the Project PROSTO: Support to Services Accessibility in Ukraine. The latter presented a security kit to the ASC and awarded the Center employees with training certificates.
